Battery life...
Whats the average time peoples batteries are lasting on this bad boy? Lets say you charge it for the night, unplug fully charged at 8:30am. You have moderate use throughout the day..nothing crazy but certainly using it (e-mail, txt, phone...maybe some bubble breaker). How long before youre down to the dreaded 1 bar???

Actual mileage will vary with each user. Depending on how often active sync runs, amount of surfing calls etc. experiences may vary greatly. I use Goodlink which communicates a LOT throughout the day and active sync also along with phone calls and such. On an average day the standard battery will last from 6 a.m. to 3-4 pm before getting down to 1 bar. The extended battery will go a full day plus (went 32 hours one day last week).

Full day with the extended battery?! Where can you pick one of those up???

Im connected to MSN messanger all day, and grab my pop3 email every 15 minutes. I activesync my calander, tasks, contacts and exchange email 3 or 4 times a day. With my HiCap battery I can usually get about an 18 hour day in before it shuts off. of course...if Im in a full power cell...the phone doesnt have to work as hard...so Ill get more.
To answer your original question. Yes...the HiCap battery spoils the original beauty of just...

It's less than a 1/4 inch thicker, but noticeably heavier. Still not bad. Check out Qusers.com and you can see pictures and a bunch more about the Q

I haven't put the standard battery back in since I got the extended one. I keep my Q in a case when I'm out and about so the size doesn't affect me that much. When I'm in the car, I plug it in to the car charger so I never lose any bars the entire day and I use it non-stop for everything that I can. That little peace of mind is definitely worth the 20 bucks.
