Motorola Q

I've searched the forum and can't find anybody with this problem so I figured I'd post this in hope of an answer....I purchased my Q last Thursday and everything is working fine except for the ActiveSync. Let me briefly try to describe my problem. I've been using Gmail for awhile now and when I got home on Thursday with my Q, i went to www.4smartphone.net and purchased the basic microsoft exchange plan in order to push my Gmail messages to my Q. Everything works the way it should until I don't receive an email for awhile. If a couple of hours go by without receiving an email, the phone seems to go into a "sleep mode".
