MobiTv on the Q
So i went to the mobitv site and it said you can get mobitv for the Q. Just curious how you get it and download it on your phone.

Don't know about mobitv...but I watch tv on my Q using my TV tuner on my computer and communicating with it using Orb. Also I understand buying a slingbox will enable you to watch TV on the Q.
But...watching TV on your cell phone....beats all! Also using Orb...you communicate with the files on your desktop so if you have pics or vids in your files,,,,you can access them as well. Along with other features...

Does watching tv eat a ton of the limited battery life on the Q? Also, has anybody used Mobi TV and how is the quality? I wish they had a demo to try first.

Anything on the Q takes up lots of battery. Sadly, Verizon doesn't support MobiTV yet. Supposedly, they'll have it at the beginning of the year, they'll have it; but I don't beielve everything Verizon reps tell me.

I posted a question about HandiTV, which is along the lines of this thread. Is HandiTV really what it is advertised to be? Also, how good is slingbox and is it choppy? Can you get cable channells like Discovery, ESPN, etc?
