Make sure you have the latest VZ Access Manager installed on your laptop. You can download it free at www.vzam.net.

Thanks for the info. Once i downloaded the drver i found there is still an additional $15 charge from Verizon to enable your Q to be tethered. Might anyone know of a way around this or is this my only option to use the phone as a modem.

yeah, that's what I thought...so it really doesn't matter whether or not you have the freekin modem from your moto Q...you STILL have to pay!!! Verizon's policy to give the paying customers nothing is really crappy. As soon as my contract is up, I'm going to t-mobile or some other company that has either 7pm start for free nights and weekends or rollover minutes...

Verizon has to get better with customer service. I am almost ready to pay them that stinkin $175 to get out of their stinkin contract!!! I'm surely thinking about it just so I can switch! 😁

T-Mobile does not have high speed access, do they? I know you are chapped 😉 about the $15 charge but is it worth leaving to go to a crummy network and no high speed access? But that Katherine Zeta-Jones is hot isn't she? 🙂
