enV vs. the Q

I see that the enV LG VX9900 was announced, and is on the Verizon web site. Does this phone use the same windows mobile OS as the Q? I kind of like the big keyboard on the enV, but I also want to be able to load and run 3rd party apps, such as a good calendar/pda app.

Any opinions on this phone, vs the Q?

Thanks

The 9900 isn't a smartphone. I asked the same question because the gizmodo said smartphone but alas it's not. ☚ī¸

I saw the enV (9900) yesterday. Nice phone, but no Windows OS.

Everything Ive read about this new phone calls it a 'smartphone' - that is misleading at least. bummer.

I totally agree.... I was hoping to swap my Q (even though I love the Q)

If you like the Windows OS and having the only Verizon phone that's not bluetooth-blocked, then you should stay as you are. That's why I went back to the Q.

Agreed, the Q is far more powerful. Get the software upgrade and work with it. The 9900 is cool, but its a toy compared to the Q. The 9900 is basically for kids who text too much and are trying to avoid textthumbitis.
