Samsung SGH-x507 Where can I buy it??
Anyone know of an actual place to buy this phone?? It says cingular had it two months ago, but the their reps are clueless.... Any leads/info is appreciated.

Its available thru the business channel- you need to call them and not the consumer CS/Sales. I ordered on-line through a premire portal that my company has.
I'll tell you this, however, after using the phone for about 6 weeks now I don't think its that good. The outgoing audio is really compressed like a tin-can sound and everyone says they can't hear you and that's because the consonants are getting clipped. People say "talk louder" but that does nothing when the codec is chopping off the important part of the waveform.
The screen is crummy and the menu system is so-so. Look elsewhere- in my opinion.

I would have to agree with you. Although i think it is great that Samsung actually found its way back to GSM from introducing a series of CDMA phones this particular phone again lives up to Samsungs poor quality towards GSM users. Thru the complaints from others the biggest issue with the phone is the lack of ring tomes stored on the phone at the time of assembly. Although I am sure that is a attempt to the carriers to make more money through ringtone sales I believe that this is a big deciding fact when choosing a phone. Other then the ring tones and the poor sound quality witch is expected from Samsung I believe it is a great as phone scoop calls it "entry level phone." Enjoy, at your own risk
