Emailing pics to my phone & music transfers
Emailing pics was easy to do when I had a phone that had a pop3 account. Since Cingular disabled pop3 for this phone I have no idea how to e-mail pics to this phone. I've tried using [email protected]. I get the message but it says that the attachment was removed becasue it was unsupported. When I send through Gmail app feature I can open the pic but can't figure out how to save it. When I open Gmail through the browser I can save the pic but it's very distorted and there's no color.

There is no viable solution for the email problem. I was so glad I got an unlocked and unbranded W810 simply for that reason, as well as the MediaNet key was a key for programmable shortucts. Sending to the email address you mentioned, [email protected] requires the file to be a certain size file (I would say less than 200KB) but dont quote me on that. Yes, the Gmail app only lets you see the picture.
As for music, dont use the software that came with the phone, it sucks really. Just connect your phone to your pc via the USB cable. A wizard will come up, just click cance. It will probably give you an error along the lines of your hardware was detected but it may not function properly. Ignore that. After a few seconds, 2 boxes...
