Where can I get ring tones to my 6131 when I use Cingular?? Cingular’s site doesn’t work as they don't have the phone. And the same goes for other sites to ☹️
By the way I LOOOOVE my 6131!!!

You don't have to pay anyone for the tones. On your phone go to menu>settings>tones>ring tones> and then select the file you have put any music in. Select that music tone and away you go.

May I ask how you do this? I am a 6131 owner myself and I would like to know how I can do this. I bought my tones from Jamster and some of the tone I want aren't available there. Can you please tell how this con be done?

The easiest way to put tones on your phone is to get a MicroSD card and drop and drag them to the card. If you have a Bluetooth adapter on your computer you can also send the info via Bluetooth using Nokia's PC Suite. I send them right to the card using the music transfer section, or if that doesn't work, I open the file manager section and drop and drag the song to the memory card.
After you get the songs to your phone you follow the directions I gave you in my previous thread.
By the way, if your music is WMA protected you will have to convert them to mp3 without the management rights to have them play on the phone correctly, with title and artest showing.

Does this include iTunes for apple?
I know the phone is capable of playing aac format, but iTunes is becoming known for its inability to share well.

I use TuneBite to convert my WMA to mp3s. I think you will have to get a program like that to convert them to mp3.
