Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133

So if it's true that the latest firmware v5.5 does fix the problems people were having with this phone in the U.S. under Cingular, does this mean it's possible Cingular might give this phone another chance at a release, or does Cingular just want to forget this phone ever existed already?
