$99.99

Just wanted to let everyone know that Cingular has this phone until at least March 31st for $99.99 on their website. You have to pay $199.99 for it, but then they send you a Visa debit card worth $100, which you can most likely put back in your bank account. It does not mention having to have a data plan anywhere, but you may want to check first.

Up until yesterday, they had a rebate form on their website for the phone that did not have the phone listed on the rebate form! I wanted to order this for a relative (I already have one), and I called Cingular to let them know about the issue. After going around with them for a bit (the guy on the phone was extremely nice and helpful), they agreed to waive the data plan stipulation and just give us an instant, rather than mail-in rebate.

I just wanted to relay that story because Cingular gets a lot of flack for their service department, and this (the one and only time I've ever called Cingular) was no trouble at all, and Cingular did a great job of making up for their mistake. Kudos to them on keeping a customer.

At any rate, if you're in the market for a new phone (and you are with Cingular/AT&T), this is an awesome phone, and for $99 you can't go wrong. I've had mine for six months and it is incredibly solid, the battery lasts for days, and it has tons of great features, due to Windows Mobile.
