Samsung SGH-T609

microSD / TransFlash

I've read in the user manual the maximum microSD / TransFlash that can be added to the t609 is 512MB. Is this true? Has anyone tried a 1Gig?

I also am interested to know this because I plan to buy a micro SD card this week for my new t609 - where in the manual did you find this info - didn't see it anywhere.

I have a 1GB card in it right now. My phone is showing me:

Go to Menu -> Fun & Apps -> File Manager -> Memory Status -> Memory Card

Memory Status:
Maximum 990560 K
Available 969248 K
Used Mem 21312 K

Thanks very much! Did you have to purchase any additional cables, software, etc to get mp3 files loaded, and is there a brand of micro SD card you'd recommend?

I didn't buy any cables, software, etc to get mp3 files loaded.I'm currently using Sandisk. You may need a card reader if your computer doesn't have a slot. My computer has slots for memory cards so I didn't need to buy a reader.
