MP3 ringtones

Can someone describe the process of getting an mp3 to this phone and setting it as a ringtone? I know how to cut it into the parts I want and stuff, just not how to actually get it on the phone.

Send it as an attachment in an e-mail to [email protected]. When your recieve the message on your phone, option it, choose options, then "save as ringtone".

this is not working on my 8300, it's a blank message saying ERROR SAVE SOUND? i may have to call verizon to activate pix though b/c i had this prob with my razr and they fixed it

How do you get ringtones setup after i've moved them from the memory card to the phone?

is there a way to save the ringtones on the flash card and set them as ringtones, or i think theyll end up in the my sounds folder and unable to be set as ringtones. thx
