LG VX 8300 or Motorola E815

Ready to upgrade from my way old LG 4400 and would like some opinions on these 2 phones. I know the LG is not out yet (June 5, I think) and the Motorola has been around for a while. As for the Motorola, all the user and professional reviews I have read (enough to make my eyeballs hurt) are highly rated with very little negative. However, the LG is an unkown out there on the web, so I have based my thoughts on reviews of the LG 8100, which is also highly rated. However, the LG 8100 is consistently rated slightly behind the Motorola. My experience with my current, way outdated LG has been exceptional. I am leaning toward the LG, but with no real user reviews out there, I am just not sure. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would go with the LG. The vibrator in the 815 is way too weak.

Coincidences... among other phones more recently I have owned the vx4400 which was a solid phone, just got old and didn't have the features I wanted. The next phone I purchased was the Moto E815, this was an ok phone but not the most sturdy phone and nothing special, I got sick of it pretty quick and recently got the vx-8300 about a week ago... fyi you can get it now simply call verizon and if you make a fuss they will sell it to you. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and recieved it 4 days later and I am VERY pleased it has everything the e815 has but stronger vibrate, longer battery life, nicer display, overall look (very sleek and professional) and menu setup, mp3 player and less verizon restrictions not to mention the most important thing BETTE...

I had the LG VX-4400 and the RF sucked. Now we have the VX-8300 with a stub antenna. I suspect that the RF on the 8300 will also be sub-par. Go with the Moto. I have a Moto V325 and the RF is excellent.

i had the e815 and got the lg 8300 yesterday. the 8300 is much better for listening to music. the speakers are better, and the program it uses for mp3s is way better. but my battery runs out quickly, maybe i forgot to drain it out.

Well....
I have 2 RAZR's (one for me and one for my wife)and now the 8300 and it has continued to amaze me with the excellent reception it gets with that little stub antenna.
It has proved to be outstanding in its performance when I actually use it and I find no faults with it or its anatomically stunted antenna.

Get the 8300. Hands down it's a better phone.

Having just upgraded from a LG VX4400, I looked closely at the 8300, the E815 and the Razr v3m.

The Razr is unquestionably sleek, but not as easy to use, nor as reliable.

The E815 is reliable, but it's big and old, and unable to do the things the 8300 does with ease.

The 8300 is in another league. Terrific build quality, feels great in my hand, great call quality, and really easy to figure out and use.

I recommend it.
