LG 8300 or Razr??
Help! I need a new phone. I love the design of the razr, but I am nervous about the battery life. I had the 8100 and HATED it. the signal was horrible!!!

Even AFTER the software update:
1. Phone freezes up for no reason and you have to remove the battery to re-set it. This happens to my wife's RAZR also.
2. Can't use a 2.5mm headset jack so all of my good quality headsets are useless and I have not found a blue tooth yet where people don't keep asking me to repeat myself.
3. Poor, poor battery life.
4. If you choose to use a wired USB headset ans happen to have a job like mine where I am in my car and on the phone all the time, you cannot charge it at the same time because the charging port is also the wired headset port.
5. The buttons on the side are too sensitive and in the normal course of handling the phone, the ringer often g...

There is a way to fix the battery life not lasting long and also the freezing up.

it'll tell you how to get the motorola UI back on instead of the verizon UI, which freezes up the phone.
Otherwise, can't help you with anything else.
P.S. about the buttons being sensitive, try changing phones first, that might help.

i had the 8100 and switched to the razr, i am counting the days when I can ditch my razr and pick up the 8300. Here are my complaints about razr, drops calls at my house( 8100 never dropped a call eventhough it showed less signal) battery life is awful, buttons suck if you like to text message, and the number 1 complaint will be the outside display, it is almost useless unless you are in a very dark room! I can never see my clock in the car and barely make it out in my living room with just an over head light. It terrible!
