ANYBODY ABLE TO PLAY MUSIC?

I AM HAVING A TERRIBLE TIME GETTING MUSIC TO PLAY FROM DOWNLOADED FILES TO THE SD CARD. ONLY A FEW ARE RECCONIZED BY THE PHONE BUT MY COMPUTER RECCONIZES ALL OF THE SONGS.

They all have to be in .wmv format in order for the phone to recognize it. I had the same problem when I took my card out of the A950 and put it in the VX8300.

I have all my music as a .mp3 file and it works fine. I have the SD card reader/writer and I loaded all my music into the mp3 folder on the card w/o any problems.

Did you just drag and drop to the card?
My card is old for the V710 Motorola -but it fits.
What card do you have?

am going to get one tomorrow.I susspect my old card may be bad. I saw on a review that you have to turn on the mp3 by hitting menue and000000. Mine was off -I turned it on but it didn't help. maybe a new card.

Not a problem and you do have to enable the mp3 player in the "hidden" menu.
