My 8300 Observations so far

Ok while I was having the Rolls serviced, I stopped at the VZW store to play.
I ran the two 8300โ€™s there through their paces.
I will refer to them as phone # 1 and phone # 2 in this un-official review.

Earpiece sound quality in phone #1 was in my estimation just as good as my RAZR and was able to go louder. I did notice that when the ambient noise in the store got louder, so did the earpiece volume.

Headset sound: I brought in my trusty Plantronics wired headset and plugged it in. Called my voice mail system and called my RAZR to record and playback a few test messages. Overall earpiece quality and volume was very good and I did not notice any tinniness or distortion with 8300 # 1.

Mouthpiece was excellent and called my vo...

LOL, the Rolls is actually a company provided Buick but at least it is new.
Long Island has been very rainy and chilly but today it finally cleared up.
Long Island is a very nice place to live but entirely too expensive if you are not already living here and own some property.
Kind of like New England, especially on the North Shore where we live.
No Hampton's Celebrity sightings but they do occur occasionally.

So what are we to do with the 8300...lol?
I really do not like my RAZR and was hoping the 8300 would be better.
My wife hates her RAZR less than I do but she'd never break down and buy a non Moto (don't get me started).

I was in Seattle twice and I never saw the blue sky. Nice area though. I was doing business with Real Networks at the time.

Yes I think I am going to just wait till I get back from my business trip to Cape Cod next week and then bite the bullet and buy it.
I just hate taking a loss on the RAZR which I paid promotional rate for.
I'll have to do likewise for the 8300 because my NE2 comes around again in 10 years after all the phones I have had...lol

Agreed. I met my wife for dinner at the Outback and on the way home I tried to call her in her car (she was in front of me) and I went to use the phone and it had frozen.(RAZR)

I know I have to sell it at a loss. Perhaps I'll just keep it as a backup for my Wife's RAZR since she'll never get rid of hers.
