Got my second 8300
Returned my first, which I bought online, on Monday. Bought my second last night at the local Verizon store. I returned the first because people said I sounded muffled and at times garbled. Now they say I sound crystal clear. So don't believe people who say every phone is exactly the same. Like any other piece of electronics they are all different.

There are lemons in every batch. Hit or miss situation. I just got my 8300 yesterday and finally got it activated via online service and so far everything is great. Waiting on the 1gig trans card and then i can play music again. But every aspect of the phone is top over the 8100 except the lack of reading the text on front but im getting used to it.
