what does formatting your sd card do?
if you go to the card memory in the phone, and then to options, there is an option for formatting, and also you can format when the card is in the computer, what does this do???

Formatting the card on the phone, will set it up to work properly with your phone. Don't worry about formatting it on your computer, it'll work fine there anyway.
