Press the Voice command button and when it asks you to say a command,

And see what happens.

wow, that is the most throrough status check I have ever seen. usually the status checks just tell you battery and signal strength but this one covers all the bases. not that I needed one but i have yet another reason to really like this phone.

My razr would only say the word coverage but it would not say what type (figures) and it would say battery level and that was it.
