earpiece volume
I feel like the earpiece volume is very low compared to my old VX7000. Anyone else have this problem? I have earpiece volume at the highest level in the sound setting. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Hum, I had a VX7000 and I don't think it is that different. I could be mistaken but I will say the speaker is damn loud! Wow.

I've had my phone three days and haven't had any problems with the earpiece. I'm not a kid and my ears have been punished with many years of listening to R&R - and I find the volume just fine!

I owned the 7000 and it had the ability to go deafeningly loud especially if you turned on "auto Volume" so while I agree with you that the volume does not go as loud as the 7000, my particular handset goes loud enough to break my eardrum.
