LG 8300 vs Motorola Razr V3m
Can anyone give me their thoughts on which is the better phone? I am between these two phones and would really appreciate some help.
Thanks

I upgraded our two Verizon phones about one week ago. I was also between these two phones.
What won it for the 8300 was:
- Solid build quality - gives me confidence, less worry if one drops it, long lasting. It's simply well put together.
- Ease of use - everything is where it should be and the learning curve is small. Even my gadget-challenged wife has picked it up with ease. She also loves the looks, which encourages her to play with it.
- Phone function - call sound quality is excellent, good phone signal, mp3s sound very good (I'm a Mac guy so I switched the phone from wma to mp3; don't think one can do that on the Razr v3m), battery life is great.

I had the RAZR V3c and I upgraded to the 8300. I found the build quality of the RAZR to be cheap and the keyboard to seem cumbersome at times. Also the implementation of VZW's user interface was (in my opinion) terrible on the RAZR. Both the V3c and V3m have the same user interface except for the music player; I hated it!! If you want my advice go with the 8300 and exchange it for the RAZR if you really don't like it; But I think you will. This, by the way, is coming from a long time Motorola user. I have used every Motorola phone since the StarTac I think the 8300 is a great phone.

Get the 8300. It has better build quality & stronger signal strength. Overall you will have way less problems with the 8300. LG makes the best phones by far.

I agree, go with the 8300. Motorola has very poor quality control with their phones. I had a few and they don't last. The razor looks cool, but that is all it has going for it imho. The 8300 is a good phone, you won't regret getting it.
