Size and Ring Tones ??

I am in the market for a new Verizon phone and have narrowed my choices to the VX-8300 and the RAZR. I have two chief concerns about the 8300 and was hoping some current owners could give their opinions:

1) Size. My current Samsung a670 is a great size. While the 8300 is the same thickness (I compared them at the store), it is both longer and wider. I keep the phone in my front pocket and am sensitive to the size. Does the phone seem too big?

2) Ring Tones. Does this phone have a traditional ringer? I don't mean those ring tones that try, but fail miserably to approximate a normal ring; I just want a standard, pre-music-style ringer.

Opinions appreciated.

The 8300 is actually quite small. It's fairly thin and very light weight. As for the ring tones, there are many to choose from. I'm sure at lease one of them will meet your expectations.
