I got the headphone adapter at Verison for $14.95 which allows you to plug stereo headphones into the headphone/microphone jack. I used it to plug a cassette adapter into my phone. That allows me to listen to my MP3s and WMAs on my car stereo. I listened to a conference call this morning which over the car stereo sounded pretty impressive!

Next I want to find out what takes place when you receive a call while listening to music. Add to that question the complication of a Bluetooth headset...

Rainmanva,
The Music Essentials Kit was on sale online at www.vzw.com for $19 and the headphones alone were worth the purchase... plus the kit makes it sooo easy to download PROTECTED [copyrighted] purchased music. I didn't need the kit at all for all my free pirated music. (Hush hush) ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿคจ

FossDad,
What adapter did you get?

Happy 4th to you all !!! ๐Ÿ™‚

The adapter was at the VZW store. It just allows you to plug a Stereo mini plug (three wire) into the headphone/microphone jack (four wire). It provides a microphone inline.

Thanks F.D. Did you ever solve your MP3 vs WMA playback issue or will you just get a 1-gig microSD card and revert back to MP3's? Did you see my reply to your question: If not visit: https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.php ?fm=m&ff=905&fi=692688

Also, what's the adapter called so I can look for it online before I make the trip to a VZW store.
