8300 review by dennismc
I like both phones and, if you like the 8100 better, that's cool. But to give the 8300 a rating of one and say it's not very good is moronic and does a disservice to anyone trying to decide whether to get the phone. If the outside OLED screen improves battery life, that's fine with me.
I don't spend all day staring at my phone. If they had used the same screen as the 8100, that would be fine with me too. If a more professional appearance, greatly improved voice dialing, and stereo bluetooth aren't enough of an upgrade for you-oh well. Give your phone a hug for me.

News flash: no one cares if you kiss your 8100 goodnight and sleep with it under your pillow. Your review was supposed to be about the 8300.

You know, sleeping with your phone can be an experience if you set the ringer to Vibrate only...... 😈

I reported it as spam to my Internet Service Provider and then I discovered the e-mails were coming from my wife.... 😛

As I stated in my review: anyone reading the reviews and sees a rating below 4* should be very leery of that review - chances are that the person either never had the 8300 or never gave it a fair chance (or if they did - then perhaps it was a lemon [which happens with all manufactured goods] and they should have returned it for a new one). This may not be the greatest phone in the world - but it does what it was intended to do and it does it very well!
that statement is absurd. i had the 8300 (2 of them to be exact...had to do an exchange), gave it/them a fair chance, and traded it in...
