Love the 8300, but is this a software issue?????

I'm a verizon wireless cust care rep, and have had this phone for about 3 days...I dig it alot considering I gave up my Audiovox 9900 after almost 2 years for it...

Everything is great, except that I noticed...when I take a picture from the outside display with the phone closed...the picture comes up a reverse image!! Anything with letters or words shows up backwards...

Also when plugging the phone into charge, there is no light display, like a red or green light or anything to signify the phone is plugged in to be charged...

Pretty much everything is great...except my biggest gripe is the loss of my countdown timer from the 9900 and loss of my 9 shortcuts keys...oh, and the super extra crisp clear screen resolution...man I miss my ...

I have an 8100, and it does the same thing, so I would assume that it's just like that.

The way that you can tell the battery is charging on this phone is that the battery meter on the outer display will actually move (like it'll go from empty, to 1 bar, to 2 bars...to full, then back to empty. If you watch it you can actually see it moving. When it's done, it'll come up w/ a picture of a battery and say "charge complete.")

The 9900 was SUPERB - still can't believe that was a 640x480 camera!
