Have no evidence to substantiate this but its just a feeling, i think they will change that in a future software update.

Yeah...I would imagine that they would. Has anyone gotten an update on this? (I know that it's been discussed in previous posts)

i really hope so. Its the only reason I haven't gotten it yet. I don't really need a new phone, as I love my 8100, but I like the style and the ability to listen to music via bluetooth on the 8300. I can't really talk on the phone all day, so i text alot, and its really handy to not have to open my phone to read them.
