This may be a stupid question, but are there compatibility issues with downloading music onto the phone from a Mac vs. a PC?

Not trying to be a dink, but most of what you are asking about is in the review pages of this phone. But I will answer for my point of view,
I really like the phone. Glad I purchased it. Better reception then my 7000. I have no problem with sound quality. Love the speaker on this phone, but to be honest I never had one before to compair it too.
Best phone I have had yet.

To answer your 4 questions:
1) In general, people seem to LOVE this phone
2) The sound quality during calls has been excellent (had the phone for just under a month now)
3) The speaker phone is great. In fact I don't even use it at full throttle volume usually as it's plenty loud at less than max. vol.
4) It blows away any other Samsung, LG or Moto phone I've ever owned.
