new phone, first charge -- how do I know when it's done coooking?
Just got my phone today so tonight is the first long charge period. I saw when I plugged the phone into the charger the front display says "battery charging" and then the screen goes dark (due to my settings). If I open the phone whil it's charging, the main screen says "battery charging". I'm leaving it charging overnight. I know in the morning it will be fully charged, but I'm wondering if there will be an indicator of some sort on the front screen, the main screen, or maybe there's a little light somewhere that will light up (and I can't see it yet?) you will know when its done ... mine took about 2 hours to fully charge ... i received mine from the insurance and i cant see it being any less charged than if you got it from the store ... if you need any help with any features dont hesitate to search through the forums for my name or just asking thorugh this thread

Thanks for your reply, but you forgot to mention how I "will know that its done" -- what indicator the phone or charger has to show that it's done. I know that I can assume after overnight charging that it will be fully charged. However, this morning I did see that when I open the phone while still plugged to the charger, the main display says "battery charged" with a pic of a full battery.
I asked this because my prior LG had a cradle with a light that was red while charging, green when complete.
