I have heard all this talk about echo probs, with numerous headsets, but no one seems to have tried the lg bluetooth headset, or says anything about call environment or service location (i.e. east coast, west coast, city, burbs etc.), or signal strength of call. I have a Moto H500 (supposedly not compatible with vx8300 and I have no such problem as far as I can tell, from those I have asked. I'm in Corvallis, Oregon which is about 90 miles south of Portland, population 55,000. It's an open valley floor with hills to the east and west. Let the good times roll!!! 😎

I tried it for 2 days. Worked fine, with no echo, but kept losing the BT connection. I am in NJ and have rarely ever had an echo - phone on med + headset on med. Other people have nothing but echo & static. I still believe it depends on location.

I have purchased the LG HB500 BT headset...that is after returning the Jabra BT800.

The LG will be returned as well. The reason? By the time you turn the gain down on the phone and headset as well to rid the other party's echo problem you simply CANNOT hear.

So...I need to go looking once more!!!
