Actually, th3champish3r3, I've gotten used to it and I find it isn't that bad. It's actually pretty secure which is important to me--I've lost a phone from a holster that didn't hold it well enough but I don't think that will happen with this one.

Try this:

With the phone in the holster, curl your
fingers around the phone with your thumb on the release tab. Your little finger (and maybe ring finger) should be on the bottom of the holster. Your index finger will naturally fall about where a speaker is.

Press the end of the tab farthest from the phone with your thumb while squeezing with your little finger (in other words, you're squeezing the holster between your thumb and little finger). The important part is to be pressing with y...

All you have to do is bend the top clip part out a little. If you make it to loose, just bend it back. Worked perfectly for me. Hope this helps.

Older? Hey, I remember the days when all we had were wood-burning cell phones! 🙂

But I need a belt clip/holster! I have my Palm PDA, a wallet and my keys in my pockets. If I put the phone in too, I attract unwarranted stares due to my bulges.

Just bought my holster on Ebay for 6.98 shipped. I was hoping these holsters were thin and not have the extra spot for the extended battery. Lucky me they are just like that 🙂 I will be happy camper when it arrives!

I just got my 8300 yesterday and got a belt clip. It is pretty tight, I tried loosening it and now it falls off everytime I get into the car. What are people getting if they don't have a belt clip? I am a male over 21, well over 21 🙂 I had a lg 7000 on my belt without a problem. But the one for the 8300 is really bad.

Thanks,

Mark

I just got my phone last night... and I like the belt clip... yes its harder but that's a good thing for me because now I can have my phone on my waste without thinking it's going to call off anytime now... all the other beltclip I had in the past was terrible... it was too lose and it eventually broke apart because the phone was just all over the place and always moving...

I think you just have to get used to it. I use just one hand to remove the phone while on my waist and it works for me.
