Does anybody out there know the difference between the versions of 1.1, 1.2 & 2.0? I heard that 1.2 gives you a faster connection, but that's all. LG couldn't answer this either. PS: I read somewhere the 'Chocolate' is 1.1.

According to bluetooth.com on their bluetooth basics page it is a data rate difference.
Data Rate
1 Mbps for Version 1.2; Up to 3 Mbps supported for Version 2.0 + EDR
Don't see any reason the 'Chocolate' would go backward to what appears to be a defunct version. 😎

I read somewhere the Chocolate is 1.1. I have yet to see any LG Bluetooth version higher than 1.1. I have not checked other VZW phones, but the ones I have noticed are all 1.1. Maybe its VZW again.

My mistake! 😲 thought vx8300 and v3m were 1.2, but I see now I was wrong. the data info I posted was a quote from BT.com so it is a data rate difference between 1.2 & 2.0. Mobiledia specs the 'chocolate' bluetooth as a2dp, but makes no mention as to whether that is 1.1, 1.2 or 2.0, and in my brief search on BT.com I found no answers 😕 . 😎
