Earpiece Volume
I switched to the 8300 from my old 7000. On the 7000, if the earpiece volume was set to high, it was almost too loud. But on the 8300, I can barely hear anyone, I have to tell them to speak up. I know it has nothing to do with voice privacy, so dont suggest that. Any other suggestions???

Don't know if this helps, but I'm wondering if you might have gotten a defective phone. My hearing isn't that great, so one of the things I've wanted is a phone with good earpiece volume. I've had no trouble with mine. In fact, I don't usually use the loudest setting. The only time I've even had to think about the volume has beeen driving in a (fairly noisy) car. .... Of course, maybe I'm just grateful to have an earpiece that actually works -- consistently -- after my Moto V265!
