MP3 Question

The Rever

Jul 31, 2006, 2:29 PM
I just converted 200 AAC songs in iTunes to MP3 (160 kbps), none of which was copyright protected. While I have made certain MP3s are fully enabled on my 8300 (and have played some already), not one of them will play. The phone sees them all and begins automatically to scroll through them, rejecting each one with a lovely alert.

Each one has a number followed by the name.
For example, 01 Bad Moon Rising.

Suggestions?

And I'll add this:

When I put a song into the MP3 file on the card, it makes/brings two of the same song, one with a ._ (dot underscore) before the name of the song and one song without it. The one with the ._ will not play, and the one without it does. Even though I only drag one song into the file, the phone shows two songs. When I take the card out of the phone and reinsert it back into the computer, the file shows only one song.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm........

Dont use massive corporate software to convert your aac files to mp3. Go to download.com and search for mp3 converter and youll find tons of free software to help. Use THOSE mp3's and see if you notice a difference.
