Interface on MP3 player

dysk

Heya All,
I'm interested in buying this phone, however I do have a question for you all.
How user friendly is the mp3 player if I have a lot of music stored on the phone? For example, can it sort by album, artist, etc.? If I have a lot of music on an SD card, would I have to go through 10 menu layers to find what I want, or is it pretty intuitive?
None of the demo models have music on them, so I haven't been able to determine how it works from the one in the Verizon store.
Thanks a lot for the help.

If you enable mp3 mode and use a memory card there are no organization options. All mp3s have to be in a single directory on the card and are listed alphabetically by filename.

I think I read that if you are using the Verizon software/wma mode you can have playlists, sort by genre, etc. But I haven't tried this mode so I can't say for sure.

FYI, there is now a software update which allows the user to sort and play mp3 as one would wma. The new phones should have it, but you'll want to check it to make certain.

Further, I think the interface is quite intuitive and like it a lot.
