Considering NE2 to Vx8300 - concerned about MA reception

My 2-yr end is coming up soon so I'm looking to a new phone from my current vx4500. I've had some reception issue with the 4500 in the metro-Boston area; including a never-fail call drop on Storrow Drive WB right next to the Hatch Shell. [This appears to be right in the middle of Boston - what gives there? VZ support just shrugs.] What reception experience do other VZ users in eastern Mass have with the 8300. better or worse?

I'm not in Mass but I switched from the 4500 to the 8300. The reception has been basically the same here in NJ/NYC... I never get dropped calls. In general I think it's a great phone and would recommend it. I haven't tried BT, but I do use the mp3 player and am quite impressed.

Im not in the northeast but the 4500 in my experience was not as good of an RF performer as some other phones like the 4400. I know of one situation where the 8300 gets good signal in an area where the 5200 won't work reliably, and IMO the 5200 is better than the 4500.
