Remove default sound

Is there any way to remove the default sound for this phone. For example, the sound which is heard when a ring tone is changed.

nope, unless you get some software to "hack" it, and with that you have to be careful.

Nickwright is correct on both points. I found some step-by-step instructions on the web, but haven't tested them myself yet. Google "CU500 Adam", then look for Adam's R&R, LG Cu500 phone hacking".
