LG CU500
headphones only play in one ear
3 ring = 3 insulators, 4 conductors
left/right/mic/common = three x "/"
2 ring = 2 insulators, 3 conductors
mono/mic/common = two x "/"
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Where can I find a 3 ring 2.5mm to a 3.5mm stereo jack converter? I would like to play music from my phone to my car stereo, where I don't have any fancy connections other than a belkin FM transmitter.
I see a 2 ring 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter at:

But not a 3 ring 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter.

you can combine part 4C25MML (or 4C25MMS) with part CA010, then you can use a 3.5 mm stereo plug directly.
I've never done anything like that myself, so I don't know how hard it is to do...
What is the difference between CA010 and 4CYXJACK? The description is different, but I'm not sure what would be different electrically. I'm going to buy both the CA010 and 4CYXJACK, since they are so cheap.
Stay tuned . . .

If this works, you may be able to start a small enterprise selling these cables 😁

and the 8125 had stereo also so it's not mono so idk what the problem is either
