How many songs with 1GB miniSD?

Yes, make sure it is a microSD! As for how many songs, it depends on the size of the files. Usually one can get 10 hours of MP3s encoded at 192 kbs on a CD, which is about 700 MB, so maybe about 14 hours on 1 GB?
ID3 tags - the music player recognizes the id3 tags in the mp3 files. If you hit "options" (the right soft button) while a song is playing, then select "information", you will see the id3 tags. I don't think there is a way to actually enter or change that information on the phone itself...

I got my phone yesterday (I LOVE it btw!)and was told about 240 songs will fit on a 1gb. I went with the 512 that should hold between 100 - 120 songs. Again it depends on the file size. I put 52 songs on mine and it shows less than half full for the card memory. 😉
