Hinge
Has anyone had a problem with the phone hinge? I bought this phone on Monday and by Monday evening, the hinge had gone out! Now its just loose and just kinda flops open and closed. I'm waiting on them to send me a replacement now. I'm hoping it was just a fluke.

I actually had the same problem with mine. I'm contacting my company's Cingular rep now about a replacement. Several of us got this device but it seems I'm the only one with this problem.

I'm hoping I just got a faulty phone. I've never had an LG phone before so I wasn't sure about their build quality. I've never had a phone break that fast.

i was 100% going to get this phone next week but i dont kno now b/c all over the internet there seems to be hinge problems and other issues with this phone. I need ppls honest opinions on whether or not to get this phone and wait for the w800 or other razrs.

The only thing holding me back on getting this phone is the question with the hinge. Is it really a widespread problem?

my hinge is solid - no play or give at all. the phone is probably the most solid flip phone I've had (had two motos before).

new style hinge. 2 step stop hinge itself and no mechanical stopper.It will save the phone from open folder drop shock like cushion.I like this style.
