Pantech PN-820
I made up my mind on the PN-820
This phone doesn't seem to have a vibrate feature, which I find hard to believe. I just got a Nokia 6315i, (made by Pantech and which I have been pretty happy with) for my work phone and I was surprised and dismayed to find it didn't have a key lock. After reading the forums I find that the PN-820 doesn't either. These two things plus a number of other negative things I've read have help me to decide not to go with this phone. I want to get another personal phone, but I'm not sure which one yet.

I read here, on the Phonescoop info page that there wasn't a vibration option under the ring tones. And I read from somebody else, in my studing about it, about the lack of a key lock. Maybe it's something you have to go through some menu items to get too.

Well, let me help you study some more.
Push the "REC" button on the side of the phone to bring up the "Quick List".
#3 is the Key Lock
#7 is "Meeting" profile (Vibrate)
To unlock the key pad, push the left Soft Key & "*".
To switch back from "Meeting" profile (vibrate) to "Normal" profile (ringtone), push the "Rec" button to bring up the "Quick List" & #5 takes you back to "Normal" profile (ringtone).
It couldn't be much easier.
You also have the option to lock the device from the Quick List, which requires a password to unlock. If you choose, you can even prompt the device to lock automatically when unused for varying time frames from 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, 12 hours or 2...

thank you so much. Is there a place that has the combination for the key lock on all the phones? For some reason I'm finding this dificult to come up with.

There is no password required to unlock the key lock. Just follow the instructions on my earlier post.
For the "Device Lock" feature, there is a password required to unlock.
Quick Key (on side of phone) -> #4 - Device Lock -> Check the box "prompt if device is unused for" -> select the time frame you desire (from 1 minute to 24 hours) -> choose password type (simple PIN or strong Alphanumeric) -> set & confirm password.
