Phone Case for the LG-VX8500. Any Preferences? ? ?
A little exacto knife surgery and now I have a case that fits perfectly, has all the right openings, and even allows the phone to slide open if I want to use the keys, although the screen is slightly obscured at that point. The top slides out of the case partially. However I only use the keys for texts so usually I can use the phone with no problems.
Curious as to how you cut it to get the phone to slide open...
Cutting out the plastic doesn't seem to affect the case at all. I've been using it this way for about a week. If you have big fingers you might have trouble getting to the touch keys but I am managing fine.

It is simple once you get it, the Verizon case has two clear plastic pieces; one over the screen and one over the touch sensitive buttons. I just cut the one covering the touch buttons out with a razor blade to allow direct access to the front of the phone.
The phone slides into the case from the top of the case, so when I slide it open the front of the phone slides out of the open top of the case and I can stick my finger through the hole I cut when I need access to the inside number keys.
