When I send a message that is too long for one and it automatically rolls over to two or more messages if the person recieving isn't a verizon customer all they get is a bunch of weird characters, but if it is to another verizon phone its fine. Whats wrong?

For some reason, you can only send 160 characters of text from a Verizon customer to ANYONE else, Sprint/Nextel, AT&T, etc. So, when creating a text to a non-verizon customer, just simply create only up to text 1/7. . . if you see 2/7, it either won't send altogether, or send junk through. Send another text message after that. I know it's a network to network issue, but frankly no company will fix the issue, because they get more out of network text messages sent that way, which of course, equals more money for them. So don't look for a fix anytime soon!!
