New Icon Showing Which Makes No Sense.
There is an icon which has recently showed up which I can find no reason for. In the icon glossary it says “New Voice Data”. “This icon indicates you have new voice data (screen call ) waiting.” I have no voice mail waiting. Alerts are empty. I’ve checked all of the messaging categories. Nothing! Any ideas?

Go to your voice memos and clear them, that will get rid of it. It happens if you accidentally hold the side record button too long.
