I'm in the process of upgrading my phone right now from 1.02SP to 1.007SP.
Just completed and it's rebooting.

OK, that seemed to go OK.
For what it's worth, the description said it improved pcture mail & Bluetooth.

where do you go to get this update? im still on the 1.02SP and where did you find the description of the update? any help would be great

Use the phone itself.

I've flashed my phone a few hours ago, no reboots yet, but a few days will tell.
BTW, I checked for an update this morning, and declined the update at that time since it said it was just bluetooth and picturemail, which I don't use. The interesting thing is, since I opted to be prompted on each boot up for the upgrade, it prompted me after one of those mini-blackout/reboot thingy, so, I guess those mini-blackouts are actual reboots.
Does anyone have a link to the full update details? either from Sanyo or Sprint?
