how do you like your 8400?
Music plays pretty loud for a single speaker (I don't mind a single speaker at all). I am glad they have the extra memory slot for a miniSD, thats good stuff.
The 1.3mp cam goes great with the QVGA screen, I couldn't justify the purchase of a seperate digital camera cause I don't take pictures enough heh. And its nice to be able to take a short video of my friends for later exploitation 😈...

I agree with most of the positive comments, clear sound, good reception etc. so rather than repeat I'll add my nitpicks instead:
I wish there was another case for it, I got the "Body Glove" case but it covers the mouthpiece and slides off the bottom half, I also tore the clear vinyl button cover the other day constantly trying to adjust the position..

1. Use as an EvDO modem. The 8400 is stellar on this front. Battery life is best of the EvDO phones at Sprint. This helps me a bunch.
2. Managing a large address book. The 8400 is a letdown on this. My Nokia 6165i (a 1xRTT phone) held about 480-490 contacts. And each one had two or three phone numbers. My 8400 is tapped out at about 360 contacts. It says it's full at "700". The specs on this phone talk about it being able to hold five phone numbers per contact, I think.
