Music Kit Headphones?

Last night while working out I tried using the headphones (that came with my music essentails kit) with my phone to listen to the mp3 player but it made me hold the silver button on the headset down in order to keep the music going through the headphones. Is this right or is something wrong with my phone or headset? It just didnt seem right as I wasnt able to use weights in my hands because I was holdng down the headset button. Needless to say that didnt last long. Thanks in advance for the help!

They sold you the MEK for the chocolate.
You want to get the headset that plugs into the small 2.5mm "Normal" headset jack on the side of the phone. Not the headset that plugs into the bottom of the phone.
Just bring your MEK to the store and exchange it. 😁
