Meltdownblitz

I just got my phone about 2 weeks ago and I pretty much figured out alot about it. I have read the instructions and everything. I even called Technicial Support and they failed to help me. So my question is how can I transfer files from Bluetooth Phones to one another or anything with Bluetooth such as a computer? I can't figure this out and I really been wanting to know so if someone could please help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys.

As far as I know and have heard, you can't transfer between bluetooth phones. But you can transfer from phone to pc, and pc to phone.

I think all you need to do is make sure your phone's bluetooth is turned on and the discovery mode is on. Then go to your computer and search for bluetooth devices. Your phone should show up then you have to activate the serial port service. Make sure you look to see what port that's on after its activated. Then go to bitpim and tell it to look for the phone on that com port. And you should be good.

If you need BitPim:

Wow thats a bunch of bull crap! Verizon is so cheap with things sometimes gosh. Like all the other companies can transfer files from phone to phone and Cheezey Verizon won't. That sucks. Well if anyone figures out anything different please let me know. I really want to transfer files from phone to phone.

Your pics are organized by "date-created or date-last-modified"
All you have to do is to drag all of the pics to your desktop (provided you have a card-reader, and your pics are on your card) and add them in reverse order to the my_pix folder on the card. The last one you add will be at the top, and the previous one next to that, etc... 👀

But see how do I know which one was last edited? Is there any way I can have them so the most recent pictures I took can be at the top? Is there an option somewhere? I don't know how to put one by one on there, plus that could take ages. I just want to make it so my newer pics show up first.

Thanks I appreciate it. Too bad you can't transfer files on bluetooth. Is this just for the enV or every Verizon phone? And If anyone knows how or finds a way to transfer files from phone to phone using bluetooth let me know please.

You can bluetooth pics to other bluetooth phones with the "print via bluetooth" feature. I believe that you can send contacts with blurtooth. Videos and Music: No (as far as I know of).

Have you successfully transfered "pics" through the "print via bluetooth" option? If so, what was the procedure and what was the corresponding phone that accepted the BT transfered Pics? 👀
I have only had success sending pictures to a BT-enabled printer (HP Deskjet 460wbt) not to another phone. 😲

i believe verizon locks out files due to copyright issues... however, i read somewhere that the enV is the 1st verizon phone that allows you to BT mp3s, but it doesnt seem true.

I hate to burst your bubble but a lot of carriers out there only make bluetooth prone to headsets and picture transfers, not just Verizon. There's only a couple phones out there that have fully functional bluetooth and they're the smartphones. Companies aren't going to unlock the bluetooth to its full potential so that you can transfer your music and pictures and video and not have to buy a memory card or a data cable, what sense would that make?
