LG enV VX-9900
enV web browsing
I'm trying to decide on a new phone and I want to know how well the enV handles browsing the web. I've had an LG 8100 forever and it sucks trying to pull up anything that isn't preformatted for WAP. Does the enV use a different type of browser, or are you still stuck going to Mobile Web related sites only?

Only certain sites can be accessed. Sadly, MySpace isn't one of them; which is why I might get a PDA on the side.

Well, at least you can watch full length videos on the 9900 and U740 I can rip a DVD movie and transfer it to a Micro SD card then you can replace your Ipod or video player. 😁

NOT TRUE. i use www.myspace.com frequently to check my messages on there. it works very well considering its a small screen. only sucky part is scrolling down the pages, but the soft buttons help with that.

After I sign in, it signs me out. I go to the Verizon store & they're never any help; even the ones that have EnV's!

The enV (9900) uses the exact same web* browser as the 8100 (mobile web 2.0). The only difference is the ease of text input (keyboard) and the horizontal screen layout on the enV.
Hint: try using Wap.google.com or another site that will convert regular html sites to wap.

I hate the web browser on any of the phones they are very limited. I cancelled my mobile web. Years ago, I remember being able to access more sites ironically when I owned the Audiovox 9900 that had the same quality screen as the 9900 the QVGA
