default to T9?
is there a way to get the phone to default to T9 for wtiting text messages from the front pad? its so annoying having to switch every time. and the qwerty is only useful when you have 2 free hands (how often does that happen?)

Yes there is a way. On the front keypad, go to messages, settings, all messages, then hit entry mode and pick T9 rapid Entry. Very easy to do. As for using the keyboard, I must admit that not only is it verrry convenient but , I usually do have 2 hands available and when i don't that's when the front keypad comes in handy.
