This is how Verizon states it, My uinderstanding is you can bluetooth transfer anything that you could use the micro sd for, so music/pix/flix, they are finally loosening up, anyone try it yet

the 8600 has it to, I know they still block ringtones but this is still good, well better than it was. We will have to see how it works in some of the cars with bluetooth, i know some of Verizon's other models had issues because of the restrictions.

umm, almost every bluetooth phone verizon carried. Because of the handsfree only profile pairing and functionality was screwed up when pairing to say a nissan versa, or better yet beemers and acura's. Hopefully this will fix those issues. Also these will be the frist phones to legitimately let users transfer photos and music through bluetooth, other phones would only allow headset.

Can you really print the pictures to a BT printer and use BT keyboards and stuff with it?

For sure. Where did you get that BT listing? There is nothing on the website and no file movement shown on this chart.

On HoFo they are finding OBEX and everything on this phone.

Umm, yeah you do ALL of that....except using your pc. Only bluetooth communication possible mobile to mobile is sending a vCard. This is total BS, I know. its due to some copyright contract verizon has with music companies. Fine, but they disabled sending pics as well just to make more money through pix messages.

Apparently the phone is capable of those mob2mob BT services, Verizon's OS on the phone just doesn't list it as an option.

😡 I've tried to send pictures to my PC, and it doesn't work, although it has this feature in the bluetooth menu...
yes, it's verizon again fighting its own customers, adding up to their clients frustration until we decide to just go to the competition
I'm almost through with Verizon..., it'll take very little to just switch

Why don't you just get a Motorola with Verizon. They have BT OBEX enabled 😁

oh....you are talking about hacking hmmm. I was just talking about the 9900-8600 have many profiles unlocked out of the box(such as pix). As far as seem edits and all that crap goes I can find much easier ways to get ringtones on my phone and everything else goes on memory card.
